Was in full Bella/Jacob shipper mode b/c I hated Edwards freaking guts...and then...Edward, at the end, was the only character who...stayed true to his character, WTF?!
Bella became...not Bella, i mean, a WHOLE new character, and Jacob, oh i was embarassed for him.
As an ending to the Twilight Saga, IT SUCKED. I would kick it if it didn't have such a pretty cover, and if it wasn't a lovely gift from my boyfriend.
As a book, by itself, not meant to end a WELL WRITTEN series, it was good; but as an ending, Boo.
It was too convenient all around. WAY too convenient. It was like...uh, don't know what to do with the whole plot...so..uh...here we go, lets do this, makes no sense, ruins characters, and is no work at all to actually give the characters the ending they deserved.
I had visions of Avatar in my brain after finishing that book, both once great sources of pleasure, now pieces of crap, thanks to creators who didn't fulfill the potential that they had at the beginning.
I've almost lost all of my faith in reading and watching plot rich shows.
I swear, if Pam and Jim don't end up together by the end of the Office, heads are gonna fly people! FLY!
*deep breath* okay. Now I will go back to reading old classics that I've already read, so they don't disappoint and reading Zutara fanfiction because it makes me happy.
Cheerio y'all!

The "In Death" series by J.D. Robb.
They're murder mystery/romance novels. No vampire stuff here, but they are set in the future: 2058 or so. And the two main characters are quite endearing. I didn't see an age on your profile here, but they're a bit more mature (aka there isn't Fade to Black when things get steamy) on the romance angle, so I just wanted to let you know that before you got one. Don't want annoyed boyfriends or angry parents shaking their fists at me.
Now that I've commented here, I'm going to go browse around your gallery!

Daughters of The Moon by Lynne Ewing.
OMG, it was such a good series and then it took her a year to finish it and she ended up practically killing all of her characters (literally and figuratively) but one...maybe even two. I bought all 13 books and then wanted to burn all save 2 by the end. I even tried to read her "brother" series Sons of the Dark and SHE DID THE SAME THING! KILLED EVERYONE! wow, major spoiler. but uh, yeah. so, read if you wanna. It is also a tweeny kind of series, but i appreciate it for the detail and realism of it; or at least i did. lol.
Will browse your gallery in return *meanders off*
